Corrections

The Boring Number corrects material factual errors and replaces broken or superseded sources when a stronger primary record is available.

What counts as a material update

A change is material when it alters a factual claim, the interpretation of evidence, or the source supporting a claim. Spelling, formatting, accessibility, and technical publishing fixes do not change the page’s editorial update date.

How a correction appears

The claim is corrected in place. The episode page receives an “Updated” date and a short correction note explaining what changed. A source row may be replaced when the original link fails, but no page number, publication date, or document title is inferred.
